GMO Kill Gene... What were they thinking?

GMO seeds have a 'kill gene' that does not allow the seed to germinate and produce a crop the next harvest. This of course makes farmers dependent on the seed companies year after year. Great for business, yes! Great for humans, well, that still remains to be seen.

What's even more scarier is that the “kill gene” is just one of many modifications to our food supply. This ranges from disease and pesticide resistance corn, to tomatoes that will stay more firm and fresh longer. And this is just touching the surface of this complex and big business issue.
